Being on the High Street, there is no parking outside the apartment. There is a loading bay squeezed between the traffic lights so heavy bags etc. can be dropped off
There are a number of places to park for free nearby, but to save any anxiety about parking we can guarantee a number of parking places
Firstly we will supply you with a ‘parking clock’ (pre-paid permit), which will allow you free 24 hour parking in the village car park, which is only a stones throw away. (lower section, first few rows are short-stay)
We also have a garage where a couple of cars can be parked off-road. (Although this is not quite so close.) – or even a lorry. Marked in blue is the quickest way to walk from the flat, but if parking the car, simply drive down Racecourse View.
Also, the forest car parks at the bottom end of the village are free and most of the minor roads have no parking restrictions.
Electric vehicles
There are four charging bays in the car park operated by Mer.
Two bays are a 50kW rapid charger with charging leads, the other two are 22kW plugs.
There are also some Instavolt ultra rapid devices at the Forest Lodge Hotel that are quite close.

Bicycles
Bicycles can be stored in the garage shown above, but this would need to be requested in advance for us to ensure there is adequate space. (there is no charge for this)
